Please note that in the acceptance forms, there is a release for Soccer First. There were two documents that were pink in color and I've been told they weren't printing right. Therefore a new condensed form has replaced it. It is black and white.

Deadline is Fast Approaching - Important Dates

As the application deadline rapidly approaches, be sure to get your payment in as soon as possible. Our goal is to send acceptance notices by 3/1. Lack of payment may cause an issue with acceptance! So, be sure to get your application and check in by 2/21/10.

Important Housing Information


As the Team Ohio FC Nike Challenge Cup continues to grow, so does the demand for quality affordable housing. To ensure that there is an adequate number of rooms for the 2010 TONCC, the tournament committee has instituted the following procedures. The tournament committee intends to notify teams of their acceptance during the first week of March. Please read carefully and adhere to the stated deadlines.

• The tournament committee intends to notify teams of their acceptance by March 1, 2010
• Please contact a hotel directly from the list of approved properties on the tournament Web site to make your reservations. All teams are responsible for arranging their own housing.
• All rooming lists or individual team reservations with credit card information are due to the appropriate hotel no later than 3/13/10. Reservations not made by that date are an indication that you will no longer need those rooms and they will be released and rebooked.
• Any reservation cancellations made after 4/1/10 will result in the first nights’ room and tax being charged to the credit card numbers attached to the cancelled reservation.
• There is a two-night minimum stay for the tournament this year.

It’s the committee’s hope that these new guidelines will assure that there will be a sufficient number of rooms available for all of our tournament guests. Thank you for your help in making the 2009 Nike Challenge Cup the best yet.
